THE Junior People Management Association of the Philippines (JPMAP)- University of the Visayas Chapter conducted the 2nd Learning Session with the theme: "Empowering Potentials: Harnessing the Power of Personal Branding" on March 15, 2024 at the Inday Pining Auditorium, UV-Main Campus.
The gathering was the second installment of JPMAP's series of learning sessions for the members continuous improvement and professional development.
During the event, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) Talent Acquisition Officer Mr. Scott Jacob L. Rago served as the Guest Speaker.
He gave insights on what is personal branding including its significance and benefits.
According to him, "Personal branding is more on upscaling or leveraging your own skill to stand out from others and it also needs continuous learning."
"Be hungry for learning", he added.
The said session was sponsored by Teleperformance and Engr. Henry James R. Simbajon.
The program was spearheaded by the JPMAP-UV Chapter Adviser and CAS Faculty Mr. Lawrence Carlo Luna together with the officers.
The UV-Choir took the spotlight when they performed songs to entertain the guest and the attendees as well.
The program concluded after the awarding of certificates to the Guest Speaker, Project Heads, and Committee Heads.
The attendees were the organization members across various colleges.
