TRANSFEREE

Transferees or transfer students are those who wish to enrol in any program at the University of the Visayas after having been enrolled in a college of technical courses another higher education institution. At the time of enrolment, a transferee must submit the following credentials:

  • Completely filled-out Application Form.
  • 4pcs 2x2 Picture (White Background with Name tag)
  • Certificate of transfer credentials (Honourable Dismissal) from the last school attended
  • PSA (Formerly NSO) Authenticated Birth Certificate (Original and 1 pc. Photocopy);

  • All documents must be photocopied in 2 sets
  • Long White Folder in a Plastic Envelope
SECOND COURSERS

Second Coursers are student who have completed an undergraduate degree in another higher education institution and are enrolled in a different program in the University. Below are the requirements needed for this applicant:

Applicants must present the following credentials to the UV-Basic Education Department Guidance Center:

Admission Procedures

STEPS:
  • Searches the website: uv.edu.ph
  • Click the Admission Menu and Select Online Application
  • Registers in the UV Admission Portal at (https://serp.uv.edu.ph/SERP/Applicant/UV.Register.aspx)
  • Fill in the email address, first name, and last name. Then, select the program and click “Accept and Register.”
  • Wait for the password sent by the system. And Logs in to (https://serp.uv.edu.ph/SERP/Applicant/UV.Login.aspx)
  • Fills-up the Student Information Sheet and upload the required documents.
  • The student applicant will wait for the replies through email to confirm receipt of the documents and give further instructions.
  • For board programs, pay the entrance exam fee (250.00) to any of the university’s online payment channels. . For non-board programs, the student pays the admission fee and then proceeds to enrollment.
  • Email the entrance exam payment and/or admission fee receipt to [email protected] for payment confirmation.
  • The student's applicant will take the entrance exam and interview as scheduled, which will be administered by SASC (for board programs). An entrance interview will be given to students who enroll in non-board programs, and then they will proceed to enrollment, pay the admission fee, and send a receipt to accounting at [email protected]
  • Students who enroll in a board program will wait for the entrance exam result to be emailed by admissions. If passed, the student’s will proceed to the enrollment and then pay the admission fee and send a receipt to accounting at [email protected]

STEPS:
  • Proceed to the Admission Office.
  • Fills-up the Student Information Sheet.
  • Students will submit the applicable admission requirements. And the admission officer will verify the data, information, and documents submitted, and after that, the student applicant will be given feedback and further instructions.
  • The student's applicant will pay the entrance exam fee (250) to the accounting office (for board courses only). For non-board programs, pay the admission fee to the accounting office and then proceed to enrollment.
  • The student applicant will present the admission fee payment receipt to the SASC office and take the entrance exam and interview as scheduled and administered by the SACS (for board programs). An entrance interview will be given to students who enroll in non-board programs and then proceed to enrollment and pay the admission fee to the accounting office.
  • Students who enroll in a board program will wait for the entrance exam result to be emailed by admissions. If passed, the student’s will proceed with the enrollment and then pay the admission fee to the accounting office.

STEP 1:
  • ADMISSION (Document Screening and ID Screening)

     Student’s will undergo screening committee for assigning of STUDENT NUMBER and to accomplish the enrollment form and other documents needed

  • DEPARTMENT (Evaluation for TRANSFEREES Student’s only)

     Transferee student will go to their respective department Coordinator/Dean for evaluation

  • Note: Student’s will present their school credential to the evaluator;

STEP 2:
  • ACCOUNTING (Payment)

     Student’s will go to the Accounting Office to pay the ENTRANCE FEE

  • CLINIC (Medical Check Up)

     For MARITIME Students only, and other courses as required. Other COURSES will proceed to STEP 3) Note: All MARITIME students should undergo medical check-up

STEP 3:
  • SASC (Assessment, Examination & Interview)

     Student’s will go to the SASC office to take the entrance exam and interview as scheduled (for board programs) and entrance interview will be given to non-board programs.

STEP 4 and 5:
  • PROGRAM COORDINATOR and DEAN (Evaluation, Plotting, Verifying and Encoding of Subjects)
    • Students will PLOT the subjects
    • Students will go to the verifier In-charge for verification
    • Proceed to the Encoding of Subjects In-charge for enrollment
  • Note: After encoding, the Deans copy portion should be CUT and retain at the Dean’s Office.

STEP 6:
  • ICTD (Picture taking for ID Card)

     Students will present the study load to the In-charge of ID station for printing and releasing of University Student ID

  • Note: Study load can be accessed directly from the system.

STEP 7:
  • SRMD (Keeps and maintains Student Record)

     Student’s documents will be forwarded to the registrar office at the end of enrollment

  • Select Recipients then Manage Recipients

  • In the Reference Number text box fill in Student ID No., and Full Name Click Next. A BPI OTP (One Time Pin) will be sent to your registered cell phone number Enter the BPI OTP (You can now pay)

How to pay?

  • Login to BPI URL: online.bpi.com.ph
  • Click Payment/Load
  • Select which account you would like to pay from
  • Enter the Amount to Pay
  • Select UNIVERSITY OF THE VISAYAS from your list of enrolled billers
  • Click NEXT and then click CONFIRM
  • A BPI OTP (One Time Pin) will be sent to your registered cell phone number

  • Fill out the Send Money form: Select "Kwartapadala" as the service and indicate payment to
    "UV Main Campus."

    • Account Number: Specify your student's ID number or the new student applicant's number.
    • Enter Amount: Indicate the amount you intend to pay.
