UV Green Lancers Alumni reunite

The University of the Visayas Green Lancers Alumni celebrated their grand reunion yesterday, January 23, 2024 at Hon. Vice Mayor Virgilio “Jingjing” Chiong’s Residence, Naga City, Cebu.
UV Green Lancers is the official Basketball Team of the University of the Visayas that brought pride to the institution by winning numerous championships across various inter-school tournaments both in high school and college division that had cemented its legacy in court as well as in the community.
The group paid homage to the late Sir Jose “Dodong” Gullas by visiting his graveyard and lighting candles as a way to kick off the celebration.
Subsequently, they also conducted a recognition and awarding ceremony followed by the UV Green Lancers Alumni charity program dedicated to their less fortunate batchmates.
Spearheaded by the UV Green Lancers Alumni President Hon. Virgilio “Jingjing” Chiong along with his officers and the support of Batches 1974-1977 that served as the host and principal sponsors led by the Retired U.S. Army and Chief Organizer Mr. Thereso “Terry” Bolo.
On the other hand, present during the event were UV Green Lancers Alumni Adviser and Talisay City Mayor Hon. Gerald Anthony “Samsam” V. Gullas Jr., USA Based Pastor and Christian Evangelist Mr. Eduardo “Eddieboy” Mendoza Jr. ,and UV Green Lancers Legends.
