105th Commencement Exercises for GSB and GSED

CONGRATULATIONS: THE University of the Visayas held its 105th Commencement Exercises for the Graduate School of Business (GSB) and Graduate School of Education (GSED) earlier today, January 24, 2024, at the UV-HRM Function Hall, anchored with the theme “Transformation Through Innovation and Excellence."
Clad in their academic regalia, the ceremony began with a processional march of graduates.
Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou C. Cabuenas gave the pronouncement.
The presentation of the candidates from GSB was led by Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, GSB dean and Vice President for Finance and Quality Management System.
Meanwhile, the Program Coordinator of the Graduate School of Education, Dr. Aileen C. Costas, presented the GSED candidates.
The conferment of titles and degrees was spearheaded by University President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo, Jr.
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of UV Executive Board Treasurer Dr. Leopold Gullas-Lucero.
As the graduates received their recognition, applause and cheers echoed and resonated through the hall.
The commencement exercises concluded as the graduates did the tossing of caps, followed by the recessional.
Also present during the ceremony were graduate school faculty members, staff and parents, who contributed to the success of the ceremony.
