UV Lends a Hand to Earthquake Survivors

The University of the Visayas (UV), led by President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr., mobilized various offices to deliver and distribute relief assistance to earthquake survivors in northern Cebu, extending compassion and solidarity to affected students, employees, and residents.

Various offices from the University of the Visayas (UV), together with university president Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr., have joined forces to deliver and distribute much-needed assistance to the earthquake survivors—especially the students and employees—in six towns and one city following the 6.9 magnitude tremor that jolted northern Cebu with the epicenter located in the coastal city of Bogo.

The relief operation provided essential supplies such as food and water, addressing the urgent needs of the affected communities. The initiative reflects UV’s commitment to service and empathy, standing firm with the Visayanian philosophy of Amor, Servitium, Humanitas — Love and Service to Humanity.

In these difficult times, the UV community continues to uphold the spirit of unity and generosity, reaching out to those most affected by the disaster.

Heartfelt gratitude is extended to the Gullas Family, sponsors, and all who contributed to making the relief effort a success. Their support enabled UV to bring hope and tangible aid to those recovering from the calamity.

Padayon, Visayanians!
