UV, Spain’s Torna Idioma Forge Partnership

UV and Torna Idioma sealed an agreement to strengthen academic cooperation through joint programs, faculty and student development, cultural exchange, and micro-credentialing initiatives.
The University of the Visayas (UV) and Spain’s Torna Idioma formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing held during the Global Skills for Language: Enhancing Employability via Spanish and Micro-Credentialing Symposium at the Inday Teresing Auditorium, UV Main Campus, on August 19.
The partnership focuses on collaborative educational and scientific activities, shared learning resources, and opportunities designed to enhance employability through language proficiency and global skills development.
The signing was attended by UV Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou Cabuenas, Torna Idioma Program Director Mr. Numeriano Bouffard, UV College of Arts and Sciences Dean Dr. Ramie Bulaybulay Jr., and Symposium overall in-charge Dr. Daisy Compuesto, along with faculty members and students.
