CBA Hosts 'OBE Training for Philippine Accounting Teachers' Event

The University of the Visayas College of Business Administration (CBA) took center stage as the host school for the two-day "Outcomes-Based Education Training for Philippine Accounting Teachers Revisiting the Theoretical Foundation of Professional Education Grounded on Outcomes Based Education" event. This initiative was spearheaded by the National Association of Certified Public Accountants in Education (NACPAE), under the leadership of its President, Mr. Francisco Caliwan, Jr.
The event, aimed at revisiting the theoretical foundations of professional education, saw active participation from Accounting Teachers across various Universities and Colleges in the Visayas Region. The insightful sessions were facilitated by esteemed professionals, including Asst. Professors Dr. Louie B. Dasas and Mr. Vincent V. Caparas, along with Associate Professor Dean Pilar Romero. The University of the Visayas-CBA showcased its commitment to fostering excellence in accounting education by playing a pivotal role in this significant training initiative.
