The Bachelor of Arts in Political Science is a comprehensive degree program designed to provide students with a broad understanding of the principles, theories, and historical interpretations of politics and government at the local, national, and global levels.

  First Liberal Arts Program to have been granted Level IV Accredited Status in Region VII

The program offers a rigorous and diverse curriculum that fosters critical thinking, analytical skills, and an in-depth understanding of political systems. Students will study various fields within political science, including comparative politics, international relations, political theory, and public administration.

Upon completion of the program, students should be able to:

• PO1. Understand and analyze political systems and processes.
• PO2. Apply political theories to real-world situations.
• PO3. Conduct research using appropriate methodologies.
• PO4. Communicate effectively about political issues.

Graduates of the program are well-prepared for a variety of careers in fields such as law, journalism, public policy, government, and international organizations. They may also choose to pursue further studies in political science or related fields at the graduate level.

• Executed MOU & MOA for partnership with Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) for cooperation in areas of research, student exchange programs, summer school, and other student immersion activities.
• Had sent two (2) participating Political Science students from UV to UMY, Indonesia for the duration of two months to attend the Student Exchange Program.
• Relay Scholarships Grants for students who wish to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies under the UMY Jusuf Kalla School of Government Scholarship.
