UV Tennis Star Hans Cabellon Finishes First Runner-Up at Cebu Pickleball Tourney

Hans Cabellon demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, securing the first runner-up position in the 19+ Open Division of the Kitchenline Pickleball Grand Opening Tournament in Cebu, competing against some of the region’s top players in the fast-growing pickleball scene.

Cabellon’s performance highlights UV’s commitment to athletic excellence and versatility in sports. This year, the University is introducing pickleball into its Physical Education curriculum, reflecting plans to nurture and support the sport’s growth in the coming years.
