UV Hosts PAL Cabin Crew Recruitment

The University of the Visayas (UV) hosted a Philippine Airlines (PAL) Cabin Crew Recruitment activity at the Inday Teresing Auditorium, UV Main Campus, Cebu City.
Organized by the Career Placement Services and Alumni Relations Office (CPSAR) in collaboration with the College of Business Administration (CBA), and held in coordination with the Cebu City Department of Manpower Development and Placement, the two-day recruitment attracted aspiring cabin crew applicants from Cebu and other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
Leading the PAL recruitment team were Vice President for Human Capital Edralin Payongayong and Assistant Vice President for Cabin Crew Operations Michelle Mariano. Prior to the recruitment, CPSAR held a pre-orientation talk on July 22, 2026, for graduating students and alumni, featuring Senior Manager Joan Guenevere Dumdum, who discussed cabin crew qualifications, recruitment procedures, and career opportunities.
The activity provided students, alumni, and jobseekers with direct access to an industry employer while strengthening UV's efforts to support graduate employability through industry partnerships. UV received a Certificate of Appreciation, represented by CPSAR Deputy Director J. Iway, CBA Tourism Management Program Coordinator Joshua Gequillo, and CBA Hospitality Management Program Coordinator Jeovane Digal.
