UV Graduate School Undergoes CHED Evaluation

The University of the Visayas (UV) Graduate School of Education underwent an onsite monitoring and evaluation by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office VII, reinforcing the University's commitment to quality assurance and academic excellence in graduate education.


The monitoring and evaluation was conducted on July 27, 2026, by the CHED Regional Office VII evaluation team composed of Dr. Johnny Yao, Ms. Elna Sabornido, and Mr. Monshyne Cabual. The visit assessed the Graduate School of Education's compliance with quality assurance standards and its delivery of graduate education programs.

In his opening message, University President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr. described the evaluation as an opportunity to demonstrate the University's commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and institutional accountability. He emphasized that excellence, transformation, and innovation remain the University's guiding principles in pursuing quality education and continuous institutional improvement.

The onsite evaluation forms part of CHED's continuing efforts to ensure that higher education institutions maintain established academic standards while supporting the enhancement of graduate education programs.
