UVAAI Inducts 2026–2028 Officers, Trustees

The University of the Visayas Alumni Association Inc. (UVAAI) formally inducted its newly elected officers and members of the Board of Trustees, marking the start of a new leadership term focused on strengthening alumni engagement and supporting the University's programs and initiatives.
The oath-taking ceremony was held on Saturday, July 25, ushering in the association's 2026–2028 leadership. Engr. Rizalito "Zaldy" Casinillo assumed office as President, while Atty. Rudelyn Navarro took her oath as Executive Vice President. Also inducted were Atty. Juril Patiño as Vice President for External Affairs, Dr. Ma. Crispy Velasco as Vice President for Internal Affairs, Ms. Jocyl Codilla as Secretary, Atty. Darling Chyrmyth Wagas-Estorgio as Treasurer, and Engr. Wilfred Maneja as Auditor.
Dr. Cresencio Mejarito and Mr. Dee J. Villanueva were inducted as Public Information Officers. The newly installed members of the Board of Trustees are Mr. Israel Alin, Ms. Leonila Baylosis, Dr. Francisca Uy, Engr. Martin Villar, Engr. Nelson Villar, and Mr. Oligario Cortes. Atty. Joseph Baduel will serve as the association's adviser.
University officials attended the ceremony, including University of the Visayas President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr., Executive Board Treasurer Dr. Leopold Gullas Lucero, and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou Cabuenas, as the association reaffirmed its commitment to fostering stronger alumni participation and collaboration in support of the University's continuing development.
