UV Earns ISO 21001:2018 Certification

The University of the Visayas (UV) has been granted the ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) Certification by TÜV NORD following a three-day certification audit conducted from July 13 to 15, 2026.
The certification audit was conducted by Ms. Amelita Lilibeth Cruz, Ms. Jennifer Cortez, and Ms. Ma. Luisa Sitchon, who evaluated the University's educational management system against the requirements of the internationally recognized ISO 21001:2018 standard for educational organizations.
ISO 21001:2018 provides a framework for educational institutions to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve management systems that enhance learning processes and meet the needs of students and other stakeholders. The successful certification confirms that UV has satisfied the standard's requirements following the completion of the certification process.
The achievement reaffirms the University's commitment to quality education, continuous institutional improvement, and adherence to internationally recognized standards in educational management.
