UV-CBA Strengthens Industry-Academe Partnerships

The University of the Visayas – College of Business Administration (UV-CBA) convened industry leaders and institutional partners during its Industry-Academe Advisory Council Meeting on July 10, 2026, strengthening collaboration to ensure business education remains aligned with industry needs.
Held under the theme "Strengthening Partnerships. Advancing Industry. Shaping the Future," the meeting focused on reviewing the college's curriculum, gathering industry recommendations, and enhancing internship collaborations to better prepare students for the evolving demands of the workplace.
A highlight of the event was the awarding of Plaques of Appointment to partner industry representatives in recognition of their valuable contributions as members of the Industry-Academe Advisory Council. The recognition underscored the importance of sustained industry participation in strengthening curriculum development and student learning.
The meeting concluded with the signing of the Commitment Wall, where partner industries pledged their continued support for curriculum enhancement, experiential learning, and long-term collaboration in developing competent, ethical, and industry-ready business graduates.
