UV Hosts QS Asia Workshop on Global Ranking Strategy

The University of the Visayas (UV) hosted a QS Asia University Rankings workshop on July 8, 2026, to strengthen its strategies for improving global visibility and institutional competitiveness.
Held through the International Affairs Department (IAD) as part of the UVREKA Series, the workshop, "Beyond Rankings: Turning Visibility to Global Impact," took place at the Doña Andrea Multimedia Room and featured Ms. Yi Yin Tham of QS Asia University Rankings.
The session gathered academic leaders, faculty members, and administrators to discuss key ranking indicators, including institutional reputation, research visibility, international partnerships, student outcomes, sustainability, and data-driven planning.
The workshop forms part of the University's continuing efforts to enhance its internationalization initiatives and global standing through collaboration with international experts.
