UV Hosts Career Readiness Orientation for CBA Students

The University of the Visayas (UV) College of Business Administration (CBA), in partnership with the Career Placement Services and Alumni Relations Center (CPSAR), conducted the Stepping into the Workplace: Bridging Campus to Career Orientation on Monday, July 6, at the Inday Teresing Auditorium.
The orientation aimed to strengthen students' career readiness by providing practical knowledge and essential skills to support their transition from academic life to the professional workplace.
Students participated in a series of discussions and learning sessions covering career planning, résumé writing, interview preparation, workplace etiquette, professional communication, and networking. The activity equipped participants with strategies and competencies necessary to navigate the hiring process and adapt to professional work environments.
The event forms part of the University's continuing efforts to prepare graduating students for employment by promoting career development and strengthening partnerships that support workforce readiness.
