Rotaract UV Chapter Marks Award-Winning Decade

A decade of service and leadership culminated in a series of prestigious recognitions for the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente–University of the Visayas (UV) Chapter during the 42nd Rotaract District Conference, highlighting the organization's sustained impact on youth development and community engagement.
The Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente–UV Chapter celebrated its 10th anniversary by earning multiple distinctions at the 42nd Rotaract District Conference. The chapter was recognized as a Platinum Status–District Exemplary Club and received the Bronze Status–National GEAR Awards Exemplary Club, reaffirming its commitment to leadership, service, and excellence.
The organization also emerged as a Top 2 Most Outstanding Club Finalist, while Club President Jean "Aji" Viola was named Top 2 Most Outstanding Club President Finalist for her leadership during the Rotary year.
Further recognizing the club's community service initiatives, its project "SoapBrang Latina: Little Hands, Big Hygiene" received the Exemplary Project Award, highlighting its contribution to promoting health and hygiene awareness within partner communities.
In addition, the chapter received a Bronze Exemplary Club plaque from the National GEAR Awards, adding to its list of achievements during its milestone year.
The recognitions underscore the Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente–UV Chapter's decade-long dedication to developing student leaders, advancing meaningful community service, and strengthening partnerships. The organization is set to continue its initiatives under the leadership of president-elect Sherleen Patalinghug.
