UV Recognized in THE Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026

The University of the Visayas (UV) has been recognized in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026, reflecting its continuing commitment to sustainable development through quality education, inclusive initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
The international ranking places UV in the 1001–1500 Overall Impact Ranking, recognizing the University's contributions toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through instruction, research, community engagement, and institutional governance.
UV also earned recognition in four specific SDG categories:
- SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: 801–1000
- SDG 4 – Quality Education: 1001+
- SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: 401–600
- SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals: 1001–1500
The results underscore the University's efforts to promote accessible and quality education, improve community well-being, advance social inclusion, and strengthen partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.
The recognition further highlights UV's commitment to producing graduates who are socially responsible and globally competitive while supporting initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
