UV Hosts Diplomatic Protocol Workshop for HEIs in Region VII

The University of the Visayas (UV), through its International Affairs Department, hosted the workshop titled “Diplomatic Protocol in Higher Education: Strengthening Internationalization of HEIs in Region VII” in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region 7 and the Association of International Relations Officers (AIRO) Region 7 on Thursday, May 28, at the Inday Teresing Auditorium.
The workshop gathered leaders and international relations officers from various higher education institutions (HEIs) across the region, aiming to strengthen diplomatic capabilities, foster global engagement, and expand external linkages among participating institutions.
The event was graced by CHED Region 7 Regional Director Dr. Filomena Dayagbil, UV President Dr. Conrado Iñigo Jr., UV Vice President for Finance and QMS Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español, UV International Affairs Department Director Mr. Rogie Nichole Aquino, and UV Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Mr. Vince Ralzyn Lucero.
The initiative highlighted the importance of internationalization and collaboration in higher education, reinforcing the commitment of HEIs in Region VII toward building stronger academic partnerships and global connections.
