UV-CPSAR Holds Annual Internship and Job Fair

The University of the Visayas through its Career Placement Services and Alumni Relations (CPSAR) Office successfully conducted its annual Internship and Job Fair on Friday, May 15, at the UV Gym, gathering students, alumni, and industry partners for a day of career exploration and employment opportunities.
The activity reflects the university’s continued commitment to producing job-ready graduates by connecting Visayanians with companies offering internships and employment opportunities across various industries. The event also provided participants with valuable exposure to industry expectations, professional networking opportunities, and possible career pathways.
Students from different colleges actively participated in the job fair to seek opportunities aligned with their future careers. Among them were Maria Cynara Senarillos, a third-year Marketing Management student, and Gil Marie Alita, a fourth-year Nursing student.
Senarillos shared that she is eager to gain professional experience through her upcoming on-the-job training and expressed confidence in facing interviews after thoroughly preparing for the event.
Meanwhile, Alita, who is set to graduate this year, highlighted the importance of attending job fairs before graduation. According to her, such activities help graduating students become familiar with industry expectations, establish connections with potential employers, and prepare early for their future careers.
Through initiatives like the annual Internship and Job Fair, UV continues to strengthen its mission of empowering students and alumni with opportunities that support career growth and professional development.
