UV Pays Tribute to March 2026 LEPT Passers

The University of the Visayas (UV) College of Education honored its successful passers of the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) during a recognition ceremony held on Monday, May 25, at the Inday Teresing Auditorium.
The meaningful event celebrated the graduates’ remarkable achievement in successfully passing the licensure examination, reflecting their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to the teaching profession, while also highlighting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and quality teacher education.
Among those recognized were board topnotchers Ramil Gabrino Gaurano Jr., Fella Tehanee Mainit Sejas, Micah Jirah Osa Mendoza, and Meralona Camilo, who received cash incentives in recognition of their outstanding performance in the examination.
Meralona B. Camilo also shared an inspiring message for aspiring LET takers in a featured statement following the March 2026 LEPT:
“To the aspiring takers, it takes perseverance, discipline, and faith. Perseverance to continue amidst challenges and difficulties, discipline to stay focused while giving yourself space to rest and grow, and faith in God and in yourself.”
Prior to the recognition ceremony, the four Visayanian topnotchers paid a courtesy call on UV President Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr., who personally congratulated them for their remarkable achievement and commended them for bringing pride and honor to the university.
Present during the special occasion were UV President Dr. Conrado Iñigo Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou Cabuenas, College of Education Dean Dr. Aileen Cotas, Dr. Priscila Mansueto, and faculty members of the College of Education.
The university continues to celebrate the success of its future educators who embody the Visayanian spirit of excellence and service.
