UV Hosts Career Day 2026 for Future Educators

The University of the Visayas – Career Placement Services and Alumni Relations Office, in partnership with the College of Education, successfully conducted Career Day 2026 on April 24 at the Inday Teresing Auditorium.
Anchored on the theme “Inspiring Tomorrow’s Educators,” the event brought together education students for an afternoon focused on career awareness, professional readiness, and meaningful engagement with field practitioners.
Guest speakers Kristy I. Patigdas and Venus M. Cortes shared their experiences and insights, helping students better understand the realities and responsibilities of the teaching profession.
Through open discussions and interactive sharing, the program provided students with practical guidance and motivation as they prepare for their future roles as educators.
The activity concluded successfully, leaving participants with strengthened perspectives and renewed commitment to their chosen career path in education.
