UV-CAS Sends Off 222 Interns in Pinning Ceremony

The University of the Visayas – College of Arts and Sciences (UV-CAS) officially held its pinning ceremony on April 23 at the Inday Teresing Auditorium, marking the formal send-off of 222 students who are set to begin their internship programs.
The ceremony celebrated a key academic milestone as students transitioned from classroom-based learning to hands-on professional training in their respective fields. The event highlighted the beginning of their real-world journey as future professionals.
A symbolic pinning moment took place on stage, where proud parents and guardians personally pinned the interns, signifying support, encouragement, and the start of their professional responsibilities.
The event was graced by Ruben Licera, an AB Journalism alumnus of UV, who shared motivational insights and encouraged the interns to embrace challenges, growth opportunities, and learning experiences during their on-the-job training.
As the interns embark on their respective industry placements, they carry with them the knowledge, values, and support cultivated within the university community.
