UV Concludes 3rd International Research Conference

Researchers, scholars, and academic partners gathered at the University of the Visayas (UV) as the university hosted its 3rd International Research Conference on August 19–20 at the Inday Teresing Auditorium, featuring research presentations, academic discussions, and knowledge exchange.
The two-day conference brought together local and international researchers from various institutions and sectors to share research findings, exchange perspectives, and strengthen academic collaboration. In her opening message, UV Vice President for Finance & QMS Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español emphasized the importance of approaching the conference with clarity, curiosity, and readiness to collaborate.
Research presentations were organized into seven clusters: Business & Management, Education, Engineering & Design, AI & Emerging Technologies, Medical & Allied Health Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities. The presentations provided researchers opportunities to share their studies, discuss findings, and engage in academic exchanges with
participants from different fields.
On the second day, UV recognized the conference sponsors, Best Paper awardees, research presenters, and panel of reactors for their contributions and support. The conference underscored the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen its research community, promote scholarly collaboration, and advance quality research.Padayon, Visayanians!
