UV Honors Employees at 2026 Loyalty Awards

Long-serving employees of the University of the Visayas were recognized for their years of service and contributions to the institution during the Loyalty Awards 2026 on Thursday, August 13, at the Inday Pining Teatro.
The University of the Visayas honored employees who have dedicated many years to the institution, recognizing their commitment, service, and loyalty to the University.
In his inspirational message, Assistant Vice President for Finance and Administration Jose Miguel Gullas emphasized that the awardees serve as living memories of UV, with their years of service making them integral members of the University community.
Among the awardees was Roel Belarmino of the Information, Communications and Technology Department, who was recognized for 30 years of service. Belarmino has served UV as a college instructor and as the officer in charge of the IT Solutions and Development Unit of the ICTD.
The Loyalty Awards reaffirm UV’s recognition of employees whose sustained service contributes to the University’s institutional continuity and development.
