UV Executives Meet With Cebu Governor Pam Baricuatro

The University of the Visayas (UV) strengthened its commitment to public service and collaboration as its executive officers met with Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro at the Cebu Provincial Capitol to discuss a strategic partnership focused on governance and community wellness.
The meeting centered on a comprehensive proposal presented by the UV delegation, led by University President Dr. Conrado Iñigo Jr., alongside Vice President for Finance and QMS Dr. Rosemarie Cruz-Español and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Anna Lou Cabuenas.
The university outlined a framework aimed at enhancing the capabilities of provincial employees through executive leadership training programs, while also integrating UV faculty and students into key provincial initiatives, particularly in health and mental health services.
In addition, the proposal includes the development of internship pathways for students across various Capitol departments, providing hands-on experience while contributing to public sector initiatives.
This collaboration reflects a shared vision of strengthening local governance and promoting holistic community development through education and partnership.
