UVAAI Scholars Receive Cash Aid from Fun Run Proceeds

Gratitude and renewed motivation filled the Alumni Affairs Office as scholars gathered to receive financial assistance made possible through the collective efforts of alumni and supporters.
Scholars under the University of the Visayas Alumni Association Inc. (UVAAI) Academic Assistance Grant received cash assistance at the Alumni Affairs Office, just days after the Panaghugpong Fun Run 2026, as proceeds from the event were distributed to help support their educational and daily expenses.
The financial aid came from the funds raised during the Panaghugpong Fun Run, an initiative organized by UVAAI to support its scholarship program.
Through the assistance, scholars were able to receive additional support to help cover school-related needs and other daily necessities, easing some of the financial challenges they face while pursuing their studies.
The initiative highlights UVAAI’s continued commitment to empowering students by providing meaningful opportunities and resources that help them stay focused on their education and achieve their academic goals.
