The University of the Visayas (UV) welcomed delegates from St. Joseph Institute of Technology (SJIT) in Butuan City on July 3, 2025, for a benchmarking visit and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that formally established an academic partnership between the two institutions.
The activity served as a venue for sharing best practices and exploring potential areas for collaboration in instruction, research, and student development. SJIT representatives were given a guided tour of UV’s academic facilities and laboratories, gaining insights into the university’s educational systems and learning environment.
The visit concluded with the MOU signing, signifying both institutions’ shared commitment to building meaningful academic cooperation and joint initiatives moving forward.
