15 UV Maritime Cadets accepted to EASTMED's Apprenticeship Program

A total of 15 cadets from the University of the Visayas (UV) College of Maritime Education have been accepted to the Apprenticeship Program of Eastern Mediterranean Maritime Limited (EASTMED), a world renowned Greek ship management company.
Ten of them are from taking up Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering. They are Jovan Villarmino, Virgilio Amorin, Fritz Leo Nayr Abello, Jake Bontilao, Jandrich Chan, Dexter Torrefiel, Kent Flores, Kent Joseph Mangubat, MC Kevien Repecio, and Collens Jake Ruel.
The other five are Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation students in Mark Jason Bia, Jun Mark Mosqueda, Jericho Bagalihog, Kryz Douriel Ranolas , and Jim Quilaton.
With their on-the-job training with EASTMED, these aspiring Visayanian seafarers are expected to equip themselves with the necessary tools for a career as a maritime officer in the future.
