Architecture students from the University of the Visayas (UV) College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture (CETA) worked with clay in a hands-on traditional pottery workshop in Liloan, Cebu. The activity gave them firsthand experience of a craft rooted in Cebu’s rich cultural heritage.
Working directly with the material, the students shaped raw clay into their own unique creations. The process showed them the patience, skill, and artistry that go into every piece of pottery.
The workshop also put a spotlight on the need to preserve traditional craftsmanship as part of Cebu’s cultural heritage.
