Community members came to the University of the Visayas (UV) Main Campus on October 22 and 23 for free teeth cleaning and tooth extraction during a two-day Dental Mission. The outreach was conducted by the UV Dental Student Body Organization under the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS) and spearheaded by the Department of Dentistry.
Held at the UV Main Lobby, the mission was open to UV students, faculty, and the public. Services included oral prophylaxis, or teeth cleaning, and tooth extraction.
All procedures were done under the supervision of UV clinical instructors and licensed professionals.
The mission gave many participants the chance to improve their oral health, leaving them with healthier teeth, greater comfort, and more confident smiles.
Padayon, Visayanians!
