UV Offers Free Online Medical Consultation and Health Advisory

In the spirit of Love, Leadership, and Service, the University of the Visayas provides free online medical consultations and health advisories for all Visayanians. The service, led by University Physician Dr. Remedios Y. Bacasmas, is available daily to promote accessible healthcare and wellness support within the community.
The University of the Visayas continues to prioritize the well-being of every Visayanian by offering free online medical consultations available from Monday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, through University Physician Dr. Remedios Y. Bacasmas.
Visayanians may consult with Dr. Remedios Y. Bacasmas via Messenger (Remy Bacs) or through mobile number 0917 139 9849 for medical advice and guidance. The initiative underscores UV’s commitment to extending healthcare accessibility, especially in times when physical consultations may be difficult.
In addition, UV reminds everyone to stay alert against Leptospirosis, particularly during the rainy season. The university urges the community to WASH, PROTECT, and PREVENT by following simple health measures:
- Avoid wading in floodwater
- Keep surroundings clean
- Seek medical help immediately if exposed
Through this program, UV continues to champion health awareness and community care, reminding everyone that prevention is key to staying safe and healthy.
