UV Leads Project R.E.A.C.H. Season 2 Culmination

The University of the Visayas (UV) – College of Education led the three-month Project R.E.A.C.H. Season 2 (Reading for Empowerment, Achievement, and Comprehensive Holistic Development), which culminated on September 4, 2026, at San Remigio Central Elementary School in San Remigio, Cebu.
The reading tutorial program served 50 Grade 3 to Grade 6 learners, particularly those whose education was disrupted by the magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Northern Cebu.
UV implemented the initiative in partnership with the Becky O Foundation/READucate Australia, Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges, and Benedicto College, highlighting collaborative efforts to support learners affected by educational disruptions.
