UV Successfully Concludes Altair Training at Teresita Building

The University of the Visayas (UV) has successfully wrapped up the Altair Training held at the newly renovated Teresita Building from May 19 to 22, 2025. The training brought together students from the Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering programs of both the Main and Toledo campuses.
Led by Altair Senior Project Engineer Shiva Rajh, the four-day hybrid training covered six key topics in simulation and design using Altair software tools—including Inspire, SimSolid, and SimLab. The sessions provided participants with hands-on experience in applying industry-standard technologies to solve engineering challenges.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the students’ technical capabilities and prepare them for the demands of the engineering profession. Through immersive learning with real-world tools, UV reaffirmed its commitment to producing competent, industry-ready graduates.
