Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity (BS-CYB) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to develop highly competent professionals with strong technical expertise, sharp analytical skills, and solid ethical foundations. Students are trained to protect digital systems, networks, and data against cyber threats through rigorous coursework in cybersecurity operations, network and system security, digital forensics, risk management, cloud security, and emerging technologies.

The program also integrates general education, physical fitness, and professional development to prepare students for dynamic roles as cybersecurity specialists across various industries. Supporting UV’s mission to produce globally competitive, socially responsible, and innovative graduates, the BS-CYB program also aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals—promoting digital safety, justice, and resilient infrastructure.
