UV Ranks Top 4 Nationwide in Criminology Licensure Exam

Pride and celebration marked the University of the Visayas as its College of Criminal Justice Education achieved another milestone in national licensure examinations.
The University of the Visayas (UV)–Main Campus recorded a 93.33% passing rate in the Criminology Licensure Examination, surpassing the national passing rate of 66.11% and securing a place among the Top 4 performing schools nationwide.
The achievement was credited to the efforts of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) faculty and students, whose dedication to academic preparation and professional training contributed to the strong performance in the national board examination.
University officials congratulated the newly licensed criminologists, recognizing their perseverance and commitment in reaching a significant milestone in their professional journey.
The result further strengthens UV’s reputation in criminology education and reflects its continued commitment to producing competent, principled, and service-oriented professionals.
