UV Lancers Grab Another Championship Crown

Congratulations to the University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers for basking the glow of another championship glory.
The Lancers outclassed the University of the Philippines (UP) Cebu Fighting Maroons in the lopsided final, 90-64, to rule the 1st Mayor Teresa Alegado Invitational Cup Inter-Collegiate Basketball Tournament last September 11 at the Consolacion covered court.
Under the tutelage of coach Gary Cortes, the Lancers pocketed P100,000 for clinching the title of the five-day league.
